Woman rescued as crash closes A49 near Church Stretton
An early morning crash closed the A49 between Dorrington and Church Stretton this morning.
Four fire engines from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury were sent to the collision in Longnor at about 6.15am.
The collision involved one car, and fire crews helped rescue a woman before making the car electrically safe.
Elsewhere, fire crews from Cleobury Mortimer were sent to deal with a vehicle which crashed into a tree on the B4021 at about 7.30am.
