Cow rescued from ditch by fire crews
A cow was rescued from a ditch by fire crews near Church Stretton.
A fire appliance and the rescue tender from Church Stretton and Wellington were sent to the scene in Gretton just before 12.10pm on Wednesday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had received reports of a cow stuck in a ditch.
Specialist animal rescue equipment was used to get the cow safely out.
The incident was dealt with by 2.15pm.
