Two hectares of land on fire near Cleobury Mortimer
Two hectares of gorse and undergrowth went up in flames near Cleobury Mortimer on Wednesday.
Five fire crews from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow and Wellington were sent to Catherton Common, Hopton Bank, Cleobury Mortimer, at about 12.10pm.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said approximately two hectares of gorse and undergrowth was on fire.
Firefighters put the fire out before damping down hotspots.
It took more than 90 minutes to deal with the blaze.
