Two fire appliances were sent from Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow with an operations officer to Catherton Road at 5.15pm on Monday.
When they arrived they found a fire in the living room of a domestic property. They used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and one covering jet to extinguish the fire.
The immediate danger was declared over at 5.49pm.
