Colleen Johnson, aged 37, of Bateman Close, in Shobdon, near Leominster, had pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation in Wigmore, near Ludlow, between December 9, 2019, and August 14, 2020.

Johnson was sentenced to a four-month custodial sentence suspended for 18 months at Hereford Justice Centre on Tuesday.

The court heard how she had been a carer for a couple but without their authority used their bank card to withdraw money from cash machines and get 'cashback'. She also used the card to do her own shopping.
