Otter catch of the day at Ludlow weir

There have been plenty of salmon spotters alongside the weir in Ludlow – and this otter was a particularly curious spectator. He took the plunge and caught a salmon as big as himself, before struggling off downstream. The battle was captured by photographer Steve Sankey, who described it as an "amazing sight".
