Poachers warning after gates broken near Ludlow
Farmers have warned that there could be poachers near Ludlow after a number of gates were broken in the area.
Police said there had been a number of reports of suspected poaching activity in the Overton area in January.
The locks on a number of gates have been broken and both foot and vehicle tracks have been found that suggest people in vehicles are illegally gaining access to farmland.
Officers have asked that anybody who sees anything suspicious on farmland at any time of the day or night call them on 101.
Any details that can be provided, such as vehicle make, model and registration, or a detailed description of any people seen, as well as the activity that appears to be suspicious, will assist police in their investigation.
