Car overturns in Ludlow racecourse road crash
Emergency services rushed to Ludlow Racecourse after a car overturned in a crash.
The B4365 road, which runs through the racecourse, was shut by police after the crash involving two cars happened just before 4.45pm last night.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and sent three fire appliances including the rescue tender from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Wellington, as well as an operations officer.
Fire crews used oxygen first aid appliances, before West Mercia Police arrived and called the ambulance service.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said they sent two ambulances and treated two patients for injuries.
A young girl was taken to Telford's Princess Royal Hospital and treated for minor injuries and a second person, a woman, was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.
The fire service left the scene at about 5.30pm.
