Firefighters put on bonfire in the town

Firefighters in Ludlow had to put out a bonfire in the town.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received calls about a fire in the open on Whitbread Road, Ludlow just after 8pm on Saturday.

A crew from the town's fire station was quickly on the scene and able to put out the fire using a hosereel jet, rakes, shovels and mathooks.

The bonfire was out in just 20 minutes.
