Two dogs and a parrot rescued as fire crews tackle rural bungalow fire
Two dogs and a parrot were rescued as fire crews dealt with a blaze at a rural property.
Three crews were called to the scene of the incident, at a bungalow on Seifton Lane, Seifton, with teams dispatched from Ludlow, Church Stretton, and Craven Arms at around 2pm.
It is understood they were dealing with a fire which spread from a hedge to affect a garage and the property.
An update posted by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that police and Shropshire Council had attented.
The crews used a variety of equipment to tackle the fire, including breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet, a main jet, and a thermal imaging camera.
The update added that the fire officers had rescued two dogs and a parrot as they dealt with the incident.
