The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it sent one crew to the building in Steventon New Road after receiving a call at 5.47am that floodwater from a burst pipe was affecting the electrics.
A spokesperson for the fire crew said the burst pipe was in a downstairs bathroom, and the water affected three other rooms.
The firefighters were able to isolate the water supply from outside the building, and hand control of the incident over to engineers who had been contacted.
The fire service 'stop message' was received at 6.17am.
