Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin councils among 38 to get extra power against rogue landlords
Councils in Shropshire have been named among 38 in England which will get new powers to crack down on rogue private sector landlords.




Telford is named after the civil engineer Thomas Telford who was renowned for his road and canal projects in Shropshire. It is among the fastest growing and most successful new towns in the UK. Its hi-tech businesses, tall office buildings, new estates and the biggest shopping centre for miles around makes it popular with visitors. Attractions also include Southwater, Telford Town Park, Wonderland, Telford Ice Rink, and The Telford International Centre.
