Telford firefighters rescue horse trapped in wire
A horse that got trapped by its hooves in metal wire was released by firefighters in Telford.
Specialist animal rescue teams from Wellington were called out to Bank Way in Ketley Bank, just before 4pm yesterday.
Using cutters, they were able to free the animal. A vet was also in attendance.
Meanwhile, two cars were involved in a crash in Broseley.
It happened at 12 noon yesterday on Ironbridge Road.
No one was trapped or injured, and the scene was cleared by 12.22pm.
Firefighters were also called to a fire on a grass verge.
Crews were called to the A442 near Shawbirch.
Firefighters from Wellington were called out to the blaze at 14.23pm yesterday and were able to extinguish it within 10 minutes.
