Telford charity colour run proves popular with supporters
A county park was awash with colour during a charity’s annual colour run.
More than 1,000 people took part in the race, which saw competitors doused with powder paints as they ran around the course.
Runners took on a five-kilometre route around Telford Town Park for the event which was held in aid of Severn Hospice on Saturday.
During the event powder paint was thrown by volunteers at paint stations along the course.
It is hoped thousands of pounds will have been raised from the event for the hospice, which has bases in Apley Castle in Telford and in Shrewsbury.
