Man electrocuted at Telford business premises
A man has been taken to hospital after being electrocuted in Telford.
An ambulance was sent to the scene at 12.20pm today to treat the 32-year-old at a business premises in Nedge Hill.
The patient was given pain relief before being taken to Telford's Princess Royal Hospital to be checked over.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 12.20pm to a business premises in Nedge Hill.
"We've treated a 32-year-old man who suffered an electric shock.
"He's been given pain relief. It's not life-threatening, or unlikely to be.
"He just doesn't feel 100 per cent so they have taken him for a check-up."
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to the scene to isolate the power, but an on-site electrician had already done so.
