Burst water pipe affects homes near Telford
A burst water pipe was this afternoon affecting houses near Telford.
Water supplies to homes near to Crudgington have been affected by the problem. Around 80 have low pressure or no supply but it was expected to be restored later this afternoon.
Peter Edney, a spokesman for Severn Trent Water, said: “We currently have engineers working to fix a burst water pipe on the A442 near Crudgington.
“We have temporary traffic lights in place while we make the repair and we’re really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
"We’re working as quickly as possible to get the pipe fixed and hope to have water supplies in the area back to normal soon.”
