The crash happened at around 11.30am today at Ivetsy Bank near Wheaton Aston.

Police attended and called on West Midlands Ambulance Service, who took one patient to New Cross Hospital.

The condition of the patient is not known.

Emergency services were also called to the A529 between Adderley to Market Drayton at about 8.30am this morning where there was a two car crash.

The road was closed for a short time following the accident.

Police said the injuries were reported as minor and nobody was taken to hospital.

Claire Brown, spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "One ambulance attended and treated two patients; a man in his 20s with minor chest and knee bruising and a woman in her 70s with minor abrasions. Both patients received treatment on scene but didn’t require hospital treatment."
