Telford Tigers player seriously injures shoulder in crash
A Telford Tigers ice hockey player has seriously injured his shoulder in a car crash.
The team have issued a statement sending best wishes to forward MJ Clancy as he recovers.
The team's coach has been contact with him following the accident.
In a statement, put out on the club's website, it confirmed that MJ, who signed for Tigers One from Deeside in the run up to the 2017/18 season, suffered serious injuries to his shoulder and is currently recuperating.
The statement says: "Tom Watkins has been in contact with MJ and the family.
"Tom and everyone involved with Telford Tigers would like to wish MJ a speedy recovery and we look forward to welcoming him back to the rink and ice as soon as possible."
