Christian Chandler: Inquest opens after schoolboy killed in Telford bus crash
The inquest has opened into the death of a teenager who was struck by a bus in Telford.
Christian Chandler, aged 13, was cycling to school along Haybridge Road, Hadley, Telford, when he was hit by the bus and suffered fatal injuries on October 16.
The Ercall Wood Technology College pupil was flown by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where he died.

He was identified by his mother Amy Chandler at 10.10am.
Coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, John Ellery, opened Christian's inquest at Shirehall, Shrewsbury, this morning and adjourned it to January 17 in Telford.
