Telford university campus kitchen hit by fire
Fire crews had an early morning call out when they received reports of a fire in a communal kitchen at the University of Wolverhampton campus at Priorslee in Telford.

The call came in at 3.29am on Saturday and three fire engines from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington were sent to the scene along with the operations and fire investigation officers.
Crews used breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet to bring the fire under control and then used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoked and a thermal imaging camera to check the fire was out.
The ambulance service and the police were also at the scene.
The incident was dealt with by 4.12am.
