Jenny's debut takes a trip to magical world
A Telford author has made her literary debut with a sci-fi novel called Silken Blade which takes readers to magical and mystical worlds.
It has been written by Jenny Woodgate, who has been writing for many years, focussing on light fantasy, and with a passion for the magical world, myths, and the stories behind them.
Jenny works in retail but during her days off is a writer and gamer, and sees her work as escapist fiction.
Silken Blade, with central character Silk, is about travelling, magic, jumping worlds, and sorting things out - without making more of a mess.
“I don't like reminding people about how much our world can suck at times, so I try to write about other places and times," says Jenny.
"It’s not all fun and games but it’s not all dark and depressing either. I aim for a good balance between both,” she adds.
The book has been published through AuthorHouse UK and is available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
