Golf day to fight debt
A charity golf day will raise funds for an organisation which helps people struggling with debt.
The event, in aid of the Christians Against Poverty debt centre in Telford, takes place at Horsehay Golf Club in Wellington Road on August 17.
Male, female, or mixed teams of two players are invited to take part, or individuals can be paired up on the day.
No handicap is required, and tickets are £30 for 18 holes, followed by a meal of curry and chips and rice.
