Teenager dies after being hit by bus in Telford
A teenager has died after being hit by a bus in Telford.
The 19-year-old was hit by a bus on Sutton Way in Sutton Hill, near to Hilda Hooke Close, at about 8.55pm on Saturday. No one else was injured in the incident.
The road was closed for six hours on Saturday night following the incident.
Police are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances and are appealing for witnesses.
Officers say it is believed a dark coloured car pulled out from Summerhill heading towards Sutton Hill Roundabout at around the time of the collision.
The vehicle was not involved in the accident but police say the driver may have seen what happened and are keen to get in contact with them.
