New Year's Day arson as car set on fire in Telford
A car was deliberately set on fire in the early hours of New Year's Day in Telford.
The car fire was reported at about 6am on Wednesday in Bridgwood, Brookside, and a fire appliance was sent from Tweedale.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that a neighbour had extinguished the fire by the time officers arrived, but that it was being treated as a case of arson.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call police on 101.
