Crews put out fire in dust extraction unit at Telford print firm

An overheating fan led to a fire at a Telford printing factory.

Crews were called to PCP Limited, in Halesfield, shortly before 2.40am on Thursday.

Two teams from Telford Central and Tweedale attended the scene along with an operations officer.

They used breathing gear and a hose to tackle the smoke and flames.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said the fire involved a dust extraction unit.

The crews left the area at 6.15am.
