Car ends up on its roof after crashing into barrier at roundabout over M54

Four fire crews were sent to help after a hatchback crashed into a barrier and ended up on its roof.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the incident had taken place at the Ketley Dingle Interchange - where the A5223 crosses the M54 at Junction 6 of the motorway - shortly after 6am.

The ambulance service attended the incident, as well as firefighters from Wellington and Much Wenlock.

An update from the fire service said: "This incident involved one hatchback car which had been in collision with the armco barrier and rolled over onto its roof."

In a photo taken at the scene by the fire service, a line of ambulances and fire engines could be seen, while the barrier on the inside of the roundabout was also clearly bent.
