Two fire appliances were scrambled to Woodrows, in Telford from their stations at Telford Central and Wellington with an operations officer at 3.22pm on Tuesday.

When they arrived they found a fire in an external garage including one vehicle.

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said it was "caused by discarded hot ash."

Crews used a covering water jet, and a hosereel jet to tackle the blaze. Firefighters also wore breathing apparatus.
