Girl, 3, in hospital with 'life-threatening injuries' following crash
A three-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with "life-threatening injuries" and a man has been arrested after a crash in Telford.
The collision, involving the child and a vehicle, took place on Castlefields Way, near to the junction with Willow Bank, Aqueduct, Telford, at 8.30am on Thursday.
Police said the girl has been taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital with "life-threatening injuries".
A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Nadia Hazlewood, communications officer for West Mercia Police, said: "At approximately 8.30 this morning police were called to reports of a collision involving a child and a vehicle.
"The child was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
"Collision investigation are currently in attendance and the road remains closed.
