Angered pensioners forced to walk half a mile to catch bus after local service axed
Pensioners are protesting over service cuts that will see them have to walk half a mile to catch a bus.
Those living at the Apley Court development have had a bus stop right outside their homes where they could catch the number 16 bus four times a day to and from Wellington.
But that service has been axed, along with nine others in the Telford area.
While there is a number 4 bus giving quicker and more direct transport to Telford town centre that stop is some way down the road.
