Murder is on the agenda in Albrighton for history talk

Stories behind some of the most gruesome and baffling crimes from across the West Midlands in the 19th century will be the subject of a history talk this evening (Monday).

Albrighton & District Historical Society is set to welcome Vanessa Morgan to The Red House in Albrighton for a talk about the ‘Penny Dreadful’ newspapers that captured the fears and horror of dark crimes found the region.

Storyteller Vanessa is a published author and genealogist. She has written four books coving family history, crime and murders in Birmingham, Warwickshire and Coventry.

The talk starts at 7.30 and visitors can join the event for £3 payable on the door.
