Two treated for smoke inhalation after Telford washing machine fire
Two people were treated for the effects of smoke after a washing machine caught fire at a Telford house.
A 999 call was made at 4.48pm on Monday, with two fire crews from Telford quickly at the scene of the fire in Crown Street, Dawley.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the house and brought the fire under control by 5.06pm.
A spokesman said two people suffered from smoke inhalation.
