Road ban for Telford motorist who drove while disqualified

A motorist has been banned from the road for driving without due care and attention.

Scott Bevan, aged 32, was caught behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 in New Road, Dawley, Telford, on January 13 this year. He was already disqualified at the time and was uninsured.

Bevan, of Finger Road, Dawley, Telford, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.

He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, and banned from driving for 12 months.
