Car destroyed by blaze in Telford street
A car caught fire on a housing estate in Telford today
The saloon was discovered ablaze on Penistone Close, Donnington, at about 1.30pm.
A fire crew from Wellington found the car completely alight and used two water jets, breathing apparatus and small gear to put out the fire by about 1.50pm.
A spokeswoman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the owner of the car could not be located and the police were informed as a matter of routine, though it is not yet known if the fire was deliberate.
