Police stopped the Vauxhall Meriva in Donnington at about 11.15am on Sunday.

Officers from Shropshire's Operational Patrol Unit tweeted: "We asked this learner driver who was supervising them."

They were unimpressed to hear that the answer was: "My 15-year-old daughter."

The vehicle has been seized and the driver has been reported for driving in breach of licence conditions and without third party insurance.
