Refurbished playground inspired by Ironbridge history officially opens
£94,000 worth of refurbishments to a play area near Ironbridge have been completed.

The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution was the Ironbridge Gorge. Here the world’s first iron bridge was constructed between 1777 and 1781 and spans the River Severn. Dotted about the landscape are 10 fascinating museums, including the best known Victorian Town at Blists Hill, and Coalport China Museum.
