More than 1,050 football pitches' worth of land in Telford and Wrekin could be protected as council plans new nature reserves
Telford & Wrekin Council is preparing to designate two new nature reserve sites.

Hadley & Leegomery were largely rural communities before the establishment of Telford as a "new town" in the 1960s and 1970s. Now home to thousands of people, although glimpses of the "old" can still be found in places like Castle Farm Community Centre and Leegomery Community Centre, both based around old farm houses.
