Madeley print shop closes
A High Street print shop which served a Telford community for over 30 years has closed down.
The website of Madeley Print Shop says it has ceased trading and adds: "We would like to thank all our customers, visitors, suppliers and friends who have supported us for so many years. We will miss you all!"
The print shop produced a range of printed material for the community, including newsletters and leaflets. There had been a printing facility at the site within the People's Centre in Madeley High Street for around 34 years. The shutdown is understood to have been as a consequent of poor trading conditions and soaring prices of paper and other consumables.
