Man taken to hospital after air ambulance called to medical emergency in Telford
A man has been taken to hospital in "a serious condition" following a medical emergency in a Shropshire town that saw the air ambulance scrambled.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called at about 12.45pm on Monday to Regents Square, Madeley following reports of a medical incident.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
"Upon arrival crews found a man in a serious condition. He received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene and was conveyed to Princess Royal Hospital via land ambulance for further treatment.”
