'Selfless' father who suffered stroke after helping crashed van driver might never work again

"Selfless" Stuart Peters didn't think twice when he rushed to the aid of a van driver who had flipped off the road, into a bush and was calling out for help last Thursday.
The 57-year-old lorry driver from Madeley and another man helped pull the van driver out of his vehicle before he was checked over by paramedics.
Just one hour later, Stuart started to feel a tingling sensation in his hand and left foot, and drove back to the work yard in Telford where he suffered a stroke.
The father-of-four was then taken to the Princess Royal Hospital where he suffered a further two strokes, leaving him extremely fatigued and unable to use his arms and legs.
Stuart's son Shaun said that the stress which came with helping out the van driver earlier that day may have been connected to Stuart's stroke and that doctors shared the same view.
