Two people were taken to hospital following a crash involving two cars at a busy roundabout in Newport today.
The crash happened at the Aldi roundabout on the A41, blocking the road, just after 9.30am.
Police and two ambulances were sent to the scene.
A man in his 20s, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, suffered chest and abdominal pain and was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
A woman in her 40s, who was a passenger in one of the cars, also suffered chest pain and was taken to Telford's Princess Royal Hospital.
