House near Newport floods after water pipe burst - with video
A house near Newport flooded today after a water pipe in the loft has burst.
Police and firefighters forced entry into the house in Shrewsbury Road, Edgmond, this morning to turn off the gas and electrics.
The property has been unoccupied for the last 18 months and the owners are currently unknown.
Emergency services were called after neighbours saw floods of water pouring out the front and back of the house.
Police have boarded up the property and are waiting for the owners to come forward.
