Rolex watch and jewellery stolen from flat near Newport
A Rolex watch was stolen during a burglary near Newport.
A flat in The Close, Church Aston was burgled between 6am on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
As well as the Rolex, a number of other items of jewellery was taken by thieves.
Police are asking for anybody with information to come forward.
Anybody who knows anything is asked to call police on 101 citing reference number 0333S 060119.
Elsewhere, someone tried to break into a garage in Granville Road, Newport.
It happened between Christmas day and January 1.
Large dents were made in the garage door, although those responsible failed to break-in.
