Fresh police appeal after Rolex watch stolen in burglary near Newport
Police have reissued an appeal for information after a Rolex watch was stolen in a burglary near Newport.
The Rolex Oyster watch, engraved "Jack, Love forever Poppy", was stolen from an address in The Close in Church Aston, on January 5.
There was other items taken, including a yellow diamond necklace.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and are asking any witnesses to the burglary, or anyone who has been offered similar items for sale, including second hand shops, to get in contact.
DC Gareth Bee said: "The watch has an engraving on the back of it so will be instantly identifiable.
"If anyone has been offered either of these items for sale or has any information about the burglary we would ask them to get in contact."
