Car rolls onto its side in crash near Newport
Four fire engines were sent out after a car rolled onto its side in the early hours of the morning, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
The single-vehicle crash happened at the junction of the A41 and Chadwell Lane near Newport at about 1.30am.
The car had come to its side in the carriageway though there was nobody trapped and the driver could not be found.
A statement from the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four fire appliances were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington.
"RTC involving one vehicle on its side in the carriageway. No persons trapped. Fire crews made vehicle safe."
