Blaze engulfs car in Newport
Firefighters has to extinguish a car fire in Newport in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police joined the fire service at the scene of the blaze.
The alarm was raised about about 2.20am when a saloon car was in flames on Longford Road in the town.
Two fire crews from Newport and Wellington went to the road and firefighters wore breathing apparatus to deal with the incident.
The fire was under control by 3.10am.
It is not known how the fire started.
