Labour MP Debbie Abrahams will be leading a listening event with pensioners from Telford, alongside Councillor Kuldip Sahota, the former Telford & Wrekin Council leader who stood for the Labour party in the June general election.

She will also be joined by Councillor Gilly Reynolds, ward member for Oakengates and Ketley Bank and chair for the customer, community and partnership scrutiny committee, at the event in Oakengates.

The MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth has held her seat since 2011 and was appointed to Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet following this year's election.
