The pilot project, from Telford & Wrekin Council, will see Wi-Fi available in and around the streets of Ironbridge and Oakengates.

If the project is a success it could be extended to other areas of the borough.

A report to be considered by Telford & Wrekin's cabinet later this week says an order has already been placed for the Oakengates project, while the Ironbridge scheme is still being designed.
