Two lift rescues in Telford and Shrewsbury
Two people had to be rescued from two separate lifts less than an hour apart.
At about 10.30am on Monday, one person was reported as stuck in a lift at the Walton Court retirement housing scheme in Oakengates, Telford.
Firefighters attended and helped free the person using the keys for the lift, then at about 11.15am the emergency services were alerted to another person being locked in a lift at the Severn Social venue at Frankwell in Shrewsbury.
However, they were rescued by the lift engineer before the fire crew from Shrewsbury arrived.
