One person injured in lorry crash on Shifnal M54 roundabout
One casualty was taken to hospital after a crash near Shifnal involving a lorry and a car.
The crash took place on the roundabout off junction 4 of the M54, at the junction of Priorslee Road with the A464, at around 5.30pm on Thursday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue service sent three crews to the scene of the crash and used cutting equipment to free one person from the car.
One person was then taken to hospital by ambulance although there was no confirmation on the severity of their injuries.
A short time earlier another crash had taken place in Shrewsbury on the A49 between Sundorne and Battlefield.
The crash, which involved a lorry and a car, took place at around 5.13pm.
Three fire crews attended, along with the ambulance service and the police.
