Road still closed after hole opens up in Shifnal
A Shifnal road remained closed this morning after a small hole opened up in the carriageway.
A closure has been put in place on Haughton Road after a hole opened up on the Five Ways Island.
Emergency work began yesterday afternoon to repair the hole, but the closure and temporary traffic lights remained in place this morning.
Drivers heading through the scene at 7am reported short delays.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes through the town.
Long delays were reported yesterday by drivers using Priorslee Road, between the island and junction four of the M54.
